As for Lishui, the 129-kilometer-long National Highway 330(G330) is a road carrying history and memory. Crossing mountains and rivers, it is like a meandering dragon; from east to west, it is not only the main channel of Lishui's external exchanges, but also the witness of Lishui's economic development.

于丽水而言，境内段长129公里的330国道是一条承载着历史和记忆的路。翻山越岭，跨江过河，犹如一条逶迤的巨龙，它自东向西，是丽水对外交往的主动脉，更是丽水经济发展的见证者。

Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, the development of transportation in Lishui was hard and slow. The construction of the first modern highway in Lishui, the predecessor of G330, did not start until 1932; when Lishui was liberated in May 1949, the highway mileage within its borders was only around 500 kilometers; until the 1960s, Lishui began the comprehensive transformation of highway and bridges; in 1988, this East-West corridor was officially named as National Highway 330.

新中国成立之前，丽水交通发展步履既艰难又缓慢。1932年，丽水境内才动工兴建现代公路，这就是330国道的前身；直到1949年5月丽水解放时，丽水境内公路里程仅500多千米；上世纪60年代开始，丽水开始了对公路桥梁的全面改造；1988年，这条东西大通道被正式命名为“330国道”。

The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China brought the reform and opening up for Lishui. After more than ten years of economic and social development, the number of vehicles increased rapidly, making Lishui section of G330 one of the busiest and the most crowded sections. Pushed by the strong voice of the masses, a road reconstruction in large scale was carried out in Lishui, which not only alleviated the traffic jam and congestion in G330, but also brought happiness to some villages in remote mountains. Along the road, large type excavators drove up to the mountain, creating cultivated land for villages; large trucks directly went to the fields, enlarging the plantation area of cash crops. G330 national road's Li-Jin line has changed the poor condition of 26 administrative villages in Lishui and Jinyun.

中共十一届三中全会以后，改革开放的春风吹开了丽水山门。经过十多年的经济社会发展，社会车辆迅猛增加，330国道丽水段成了最繁忙拥挤的路段之一。在群众的强烈呼声下，丽水进行了大规模的道路改建，这不仅使得330国道堵车、拥挤现象基本得到缓解，一些深山中的村庄也因此通上了幸福之路。沿着改建之路，大型挖掘机开上山，为山村平整出耕地；大卡车直达田间地头，经济作物种植面积扩大。330国道丽缙复线改变了途经丽水缙云两个市县26个行政村的贫困现状。

During the period of the Tenth Five Year Plan and the Eleventh Five Year Plan, with the rapid development of social economy, the number of vehicles sharply increased, and the urban construction were expanding continuously. G330, although has been widened and rebuilt for many times, still could not keep pace with the rapid development of social economy and urban construction. Fortunately, the reconstruction project launched in time to revitalize this ancient national highway. Today's G330 is the strong guarantee of Lishui's economic growth. Along this highway, there are many industrial parks which become the pillar of Lishui's industrial economic development.

“十五”“十一五”时期，随着社会经济的快速发展，交通运输工具猛增，加之城市建设不断扩张，丽水330国道虽经多次拓宽改造与大中修，仍不能满足社会经济和城市建设的快速发展。幸而丽水适时启动的改建工程项目让这段古老的国道焕发了新的活力。如今的330国道，给丽水经济的腾飞提供了有力的保障，在其沿线出现了多个工业园区，俨然成了丽水工业经济发展的顶梁柱。

G330 is not only a new start to develop into the Yangtze River Delta for Lishui, but also a new hot spot for urban development. The continuous transformation of G330 is not only its rebirth in modern times, but also the prospect for the future.

330国道不仅是丽水向长江三角洲发展的新起点，也是城市开发的新热点；330国道的不断蜕变不仅是它在现代的新生，也是它对未来的展望。
