Mobilize the Ningbobang all over the world to build Ningbo! This proposal was Deng Xiaoping's instruction on August 1, 1984, when he was talking about the work in Ningbo. It was this widely heard remark within China and all over the world that pointed out the direction for the development of this seashore city and set off a boom of Ningbobang at home and abroad helping Ningbo and serving their hometown.

“把全世界的宁波帮都动员起来建设宁波！”这句响彻海内外的话，是邓小平同志1984年8月1日在谈到浙江省宁波市工作时做出的指示。正是这句话，为这座海滨城市的发展道路指明了方向，掀起了海内外“宁波帮”帮宁波，服务家乡、报效桑梓的热潮。

Ningbobang, one of China's traditional Ten Business Group, is also the largest business group in modern China. Born in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, it has gone through three important historical development stages, namely the Qianlong-Jiaqing period of the Qing dynasty, the Opium War period and the reform and opening up period, during which time it has made contributions to the development and the modernization of China's national industry and commerce.

宁波帮是中国传统“十大商帮”之一，也是中国近代最大的商帮。它诞生于明末清初时期，先后经历了清乾嘉时期、**战争时期、改革开放时期三个重要历史发展阶段，为中国民族工商业发展、中国工业现代化发展做出了贡献。

Ningbo Association on Promotion of the Economic Construction was initially set up in 1988, when the older generation of Ningbo people laid emphasis on the economic work while putting eyes on all walks of life. Using decades of time to help Ningbo promote direct planning by the state, port exploitation, bridge construction, large projects introduction and a series of long-term development plans, with which Ningbo has carved out a spectacular road of the city's development.

宁波经济建设促进协会最初建立于1988年。老一辈宁波人牢抓经济工作的同时，放眼各行各业，用几十年的时光“帮宁波”推进计划单列、港口开发、大桥建设、大项目引进等一系列事关长远发展的大事要事，助力宁波走出了一条精彩纷呈的城市发展之路。

The achievements of reform and opening up are not easy to come by, with which, however, the new Ningbo should not be satisfied. Nowadays, China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, urging Ningbobang to begin to explore new ways to sustain development and set foot on the new journey of Ningbobang · For Ningbo once again. There are pragmatic measures to boost the return of Ningbo businessmen, to attract and recruit talents to help high-quality development and poverty-alleviation, highlighting the spirit of Ningbobang.

改革开放成果来之不易，但新宁波也不应就此满足，如今中国进入特色社会主义新时代，”宁波帮“开始摸索新的思路和模式，再次踏上“宁波帮·帮宁波”的新征程。务实举措，助推“甬商回归”；引才献智，助力高质量发展；脱贫攻坚，凸显“宁波帮”和衷共济精神。

Under the positive guidance of Ningbo Association on Promotion of the Economic Construction, various chambers of commerce and associations have given full play to the agglomeration advantages incapital, technology, talent, information and other aspects, helping the masses of the local poor areas to start businesses or to get employment, and to increase income, which highlights Ningbobang's spirit of uniting and working together, seeking changes because of different times and innovating because of different situations.

在宁波经促会积极引导下，各地商会、协会充分发挥资金、技术、人才、信息等方面的集聚优势，帮助当地贫困地区群众创业就业、增收致富，更多的凸显“宁波帮”和衷共济，因时谋变，因势谋新的精神。
